            The under mentioned properties will be sold by public auction on 19.7.2006                on “as is where is” basis    for recovery of a sum of Rs.131,59,33,000/-(Rupees One hundred and thirty one crores fifty nine lakhs thirty three thousand only) (less amount already recovered) plus further interest and costs due from  M/s Media Communication Services & others .The auction will be held at Debts Recovery Tribunal-I, Chennai at 3.00 P.M.. The property will not be sold below the upset price mentioned.

 

DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTIES

 

Item No.1:      Commercial accommodation/flats overlooking the Anna Flyover from the 4th floor to the 10th floor and unsold built up area in the ground floor to 3rd floor measuring about 2,00,000 sq.ft. in toto with proportionate undivided share of land measuring 21 grounds at Gemini Towers, Old No.121, New No. 601, Anna Salai, Chenai – 6 in RS No. 3/1 (part) bounded on the North by RS Nos. 3/1 and 3/8; East by RS No. 3/11; South by RS No. 3/10 part and West by RS No. 3/1 belonging to Vasan’s Charitable Trust admeasuring 7 grounds and 596 sq.ft. and bounded on the North-West by S.No. 3/1 ; North-East by access Road leading from Nungambakkam High Road and partly S.No. 3/1; South-East by property of S.K. Sundaram Iyer admeasuring 13 grounds and 1804 sq.ft of Block No.1 of Mylapore Division in OS No. 3045.

 

Item No2:       Vacant land situated at Old No.121, New No. 601, Anna Salai,               Chennai – 6 comprised in RS No. 3/10 admeasuring about 15 grounds 1576 sq.ft. bounded on the North by shopping Complex Parsn Manere and part of RS No. 3/11 ; South by  RS            No. 3/4 East by GN Chetty Road, Anna Salai, Anna Flyover and West by RS No. 3/11 within the Sub-Registration District of T.Nagar and Registration District of Chennai Central.

 

Item No.3:      Vacant land situated at Old No.121, New No. 601, Anna Salai, Chennai – 6 comprised in RS no. 3/10 and 3/11(part) admeasuring about 1 ground 1600 sq.ft. bounded on the North by Shopping Complex Parsn Manere and part of RS No. 3/11; South by RS No.3/ 4 ; East by GN   Chetty Road, Anna Salai and Anna Flyover and West by RS No. 3/11 within the  Sub-Registration District of T.Nagar and Registration Distrit of Chennai Central. All the three items mentioned above will be sold as  a single lot only.

 

Upset price: Rs.85,00,00,000/-(Rupees  Eighty Five Crores only)

 

NOTE: The properties are sold on “as is where is “ basis.

 

The intending bidders should pay 10% of the upset price of the property as EMD by means of a D.D. drawn in favour of the “Recovery Officer, DRT– I, Chennai for DRC No.187/2001”, payable at Chennai  before 12.00 Noon on the date of auction.  They can inspect the property between 11.00 A.M. and 3.00 P.M. on 18.7.2006
